Sewanhaka’s Khan Named Finalist In Public Speaking Contest




Sewanhaka High School junior Shafaq Khan was recently named a finalist in the Friends of Sagamore Hill Theodore Roosevelt Public Speaking contest. Khan competed against some of the best speakers and scholars in Nassau County high schools. English teacher Kathleen Crimmins helped her prepare for the competition.
