Gwendolyn Tom Plays Carnegie Hall


On Nov. 22, sixth grade cellist Gwendolyn Tom performed in one of the most esteemed concert halls in the world—Carnegie Hall. She performed in a full orchestra setting with the New York International Youth Philharmonic under the direction of Julian Yu. Tom was also one of three cellists who played with the Joyous Ensemble, a small string ensemble of nine players. Both classical and popular repertoire was performed as part of this “Tutti, Love and Harmony” concert.
