Ride for Ethan Cyclethon taking place on Thursday, Nov. 6 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Adelphi University. A fundraising cycle class to benefit Ethan Demmers, son of Floral Park Memorial High School Engligh Teacher Dustin Demmers, who was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Theevent is a part of a larger Ride for Ethan campaign.

Bellerose-Floral Park Homemakers Bus Trip to Ace In The Hole’s Lucy & Desi At The Club Babaloo, with a celebrity impersonator performance, will be held on Friday, Nov. 14. The Floral Park Lions Club will hold a comedy club fundraiser at The Brokerage Comedy Club, 2797 Merrick Rd. in Bellmore on Nov. 16. Doors open at 6 p.m., arrive by 7 p.m. Showtime is at 7:30 p.m. Two beverage minimum per person. Food is available. Tickets are $15 for one, or $25 for two.
